Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that the review of scientific publications of the ID Screen® FMD NSP Competition ELISA (product code: FMDNSPC) has been updated.

24 new studies were added, showing:

The widespread use of the ID Screen® kit in epidemiological studies in large and small ruminants as well as in pigs.
The excellent performance of the short and long incubation protocols of the ID Screen® kit either in ring trials or in comparative studies (ref 31/33).
The 100% specificity of the ELISA on samples from dromedaries (ref 29).

The ID Screen® kit was validated and/or evaluated by The Pirbright Institute (UK), ANSES (France), and the FLI (Germany) (which are respectively World, European, and German reference laboratory for FMD).

This ELISA offers two protocols (short and long) with equivalent performances (ref 2/3/4/5) which enable either to deliver results within a day or to process late arriving samples.
In addition, it can be used on samples from bovine, small ruminants, pigs, and susceptible species.

This document is now available on the IDvet Pro Access platform ; as always, you may access the original studies.

We invite you to forward this information as well as the updated document to researchers, customers, or any relevant person involved in FMD diagnostic.
