The excellent performance of Vcheck SDMA has been published in the
SCI-indexed journal, American Journal of Veterinary Research.

Symmetric dimethylarginine (SDMA) analysis has become widely utilized in canine veterinary practice for assessment of renal function and is often routinely analyzed during disease investigation, wellness monitoring, and screening. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry is
considered the gold standard for canine SDMA analysis. This methodology is not widely available, is often costly, and is therefore inconvenient for routine veterinary analysis.

According to the study, Vcheck SDMA demonstrated a high correlation (r = 0.93) with the Reference Laboratory SDMA and showed better consistency than other POC SDMA analyzers.

Furthermore, when applying the IRIS guidelines for CKD staging, Vcheck SDMA achieved a 93% staging agreement—the highest among all evaluated POC analyzers.
