We are pleased to announce the launch of our new RT-PCR test allowing to detect and differentiate Bluetongue (BTV) and Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (EHDV) in a single well: ID Gene™ BTV & EHDV Advantage Triplex (ref. IDBTEHDADV).
This real-time RT-PCR kit allows for the qualitative detection of BTV and EHDV RNA in ruminants (cattle, sheep, goats and cervids).
Suitable samples are: whole blood (in EDTA tubes), spleen or organs from aborted fetuses.
This test may be used to make a differential diagnosis, control animals prior to movement, or perform disease monitoring and surveillance.
